Kyambogo University Invites Research Proposals for the 2026/2027 Research and Innovation Fund

Kyambogo University has announced a call for research proposals for the 2026/2027 Financial Year under the Competitive Research Grants Scheme (CRGS) and the Kyambogo University Research and Innovation Fund (KyU-RIF). The initiative aims to support high-quality, multidisciplinary and evidence-based research and innovation projects that address national development priorities and generate solutions for communities, industry and government. Research priority areas include sustainable agriculture, inclusive education, entrepreneurship, climate change, governance, science and technology, digital transformation, creative arts and public health. Eligible Kyambogo University academic staff are invited to submit their proposals through the KyU-RIF Grants Management Online Platform. The application deadline is Friday, 28 August 2026 at 11:59 PM East African Time.
